Shimla, March 20- 16000 bigha of HP land under Doda (J&K) administration
About 16000 bigha land of Himachal Pradesh in border area of Langera of Salooni subdivision in Padhri is presently under the control of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, was stated by the State government in Himachal Pradesh while replying to a query raised by D S Thakur of Dalhousie, in the state assembly.

Giving a reply in the question hour Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that the issue has been raised in the previous assembly by the concerned members and it has been found that 16000 bigha land of the State was, presently, under possession or accession of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir State. He said that steps have been taken by the Government to include this area, in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, but the administration did not attend to the demarcation proceeding.He said that the matter has already been taken up with the Jammu and Kashmir Administration for settlement in revenue records, as per entries.
