Allain Duhangan Hydropower Plant Manali has opened the floodgates of diversion dam last night sounding an advisory for people to not approach near the banks of Beas river in wake of rising water levels.
District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC) Kullu said in a press release issued today that AD Hydropower Project has opened flood gates of Dam at 2230hrs on Monday night.
The water was released due to rise in the water level in the dam therefore, all the stakeholders and local people are requested not to go near the river drains, it could be fatal.
