Kuldeep Rathore, a notable party leader, highlighted the necessity for enhanced coordination within the party and pointed to the delayed candidate announcements as a significant factor in their defeat. He also cited BJP’s strategic use of money power and the influence of the Shri Ram Temple issue as contributors to the BJP’s success.
CM Sukhu acknowledged the defeat but noted an increase in Congress’s vote share by 14 percent. While talking to media on the sidelines of the session, criticized the BJP’s misuse of agencies during elections and expressed confidence in the party’s stability post the recent assembly by-elections, where Congress retained 40 seats despite internal challenges.
In the coming two day, the committee will meet with various stakeholders, including ministers, MLAs, and organizational members, to gather comprehensive feedback. A detailed report will be submitted to the party high command, which will guide future strategies.
