As per a letter issued by Panchyati Raj department todayu, all gram panchayats of the state have been notified to distribute masks and sanitizers in rurals of the state. Kewal Sharma Deputy Director Panchyati Raj stated that the letter in this regard has been issued today. As per, all gram Panchayats will buy these items from their pre-existing funds and ensure the same is distributed to all rural residents.
However since the order has been just issued today, wherein shall be enforced in due time. Many now hope that the city administrations across the state shall also do the same, as every passing day is adding to the shortfall of these items in towns.
