A fire in Bizmal village under Nerwa Tehsil, Chopal subdivision, claimed the lives of two cows, a calf, and a sheep, leaving a poor family devastated.
The blaze broke out late at night in the cattle shed of Pawan Kumar, son of Bhau Ram, reportedly originating from a nearby grass field. The fire spread rapidly, destroying the shed and livestock before it could be controlled.
Pawan Kumar, belonging to an economically weaker section, has suffered an estimated loss of ₹1–1.5 lakh. Revenue Department officials have assessed the site, and local authorities are expected to provide relief to the affected family.
