Himachal police presented a remarkable example of duty and responsibility above all this morning. Today at around 4 AM Sumedh Singh Saini Retired DGP Punjab with 2 other persons tried to enter the state from Swarghat, Bilaspur area.
All three including DGP were in civil dress and were travelling from Mohali to Charkhadi village in Karsog area of Mandi district, informed a official. During the Naka inspection it was discovered that they were without pass and inspite of them calling SP Bilaspur, insisting him to allow them to pass though, were denied entry, they informed.
Their vehicle was immediately told to return back without any further discussion over the matter.
