All educational institutions under Ani and Nirmand sub-divisions in Kullu district will remain closed on August 1, 2024.
This decision has been taken due to flooding at various places in Nirmand sub-division due to heavy rains last night and road blockage and many roads in Ani sub-division being blocked.
SDM Ani Naresh Verma and SDM Nirmand Manmohan Singh said that this decision has been taken as a precaution.
Appealing for cooperation from the general public, said that stay away from rivers and drains during heavy rains. Do not travel unnecessarily. Do not go to landslide areas.
SDM Ani Naresh Verma said that the work of opening the closed road routes has been started.
At the same time, SDM Nirmand Manmohan Singh says that relief and rescue work is going on by the administration in the disaster affected areas in the sub-division since morning.
The administration is ready to help the common people in every possible way.
Including Foot bridge, number of roads, vehicles, machinery of power project, school building, hospital , a rest-houses washed away. Around 25 people are missing.
