Out of the 21 samples tested at Tanda today, one has been confirmed positive. In a media brief ACS Health RD Dhiman confirmed that another Salim Khan has been found positive for COVID-19. He said the patient aged around 40 yrs is being shifted to Tanda hospital from Dharamshala where he was already under isolation. He had come on March 16 after attending Tablighi Jamaat function and belongs to tehsil Indora in Kangra, informed Dhiman.
“It is further informed that out of 21 samples tested at Tanda, 20 including the repeat samples of already under treatment women in Tanda were found negative, he stated. The admitted women in Tanda whose two samples have tested negative shall now be discharged, confirmed Dhiman.
With this latest update till date statewide 14 people have been found positive. Out of them 7 people are under treatment in the state, two have been treated and one lost life. The rest four have been shifted out of state for treatment. Five samples at IGMC Shimla were also tested today, which were all found negative.
