A significant weather forecast for Himachal Pradesh, predicting a substantial change due to western disturbance activity is expected in days to come, stated the Meteorological Center in Shimla. Specifically, on June 2 and 3, the weather is anticipated to remain clear in the plain and low-altitude areas, providing a brief relief. In Shimla, the state capital, the current weather includes light clouds accompanied by sunshine, with a possibility of rain or even snowfall in the higher mountains.
Today, several regions in Himachal Pradesh have experienced extreme heat, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius in six areas.
