Emergency Supplies: Packing warm clothing, blankets, food, drinking water, and a first aid kit is essential. Carrying torches with extra batteries and fully charged mobile phones with power banks is advisable. Weather and Road Updates: Tourists should regularly check weather forecasts and road conditions on official government or police websites. Avoiding travel during heavy snowfall or adverse weather conditions is strongly recommended. Driving Precautions: Driving slowly and cautiously on icy or snow-covered roads is crucial. Maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles and avoiding sudden braking or acceleration can prevent accidents. Using low gears while driving downhill can help prevent skidding. Permits and Documentation: Tourists must ensure they have the necessary permits for restricted or tribal areas.
