A letter dated December 31, 2024, issued by the Secretary of Power to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, emphasized the need to reduce the burden of subsidies on the state exchequer.
Noteworthy that the letter comes in public domain a day after the decision of Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to volunteerily give up subsidy on five power conection.
