Pandit Sukh Ram’s family showing rebellious posture after AICC incharge of HP affairs Rajeev Shukla’s Mandi tour may give rise to new political alignments in Mandi Sadar segment of Vidhan Sabha.
After Rajjev Shukla made a debut after having been nominated as incharge party incharge, he masticated a tour of Mandi Sadar constituency from where Pt Sukh Ram’s son Anil Sharma is physically in ruling BJP party as MLA, who has directly attacked the government for ignoring development recently. Polical observers say that Mandi Sadar is likely to face another political realignments to see new ebb and flow.
Anil Sharma is showing rebellious posters against state government. Thereafter, BJP leaders have also opened new front against Pt Sukh Ram family.
Rajiv Shukla targetted BJP through a Kisan Sammelan in Mandi district headquarters and joined special lunch hosted by Pt Sukh Ram at his home. In fact, the lunch became eyesore for political rivals of pr. Sukh Ram family, in the Congressas well as in BJP. Within Congress party, Virbhadra Singh’s followers were stunned by this lunch diplomacy, because thecKisan Sammelan was organised under the supervision of Congress party state Congress chief Kuldeep Singh Rathore.
Most of the leaders of Virbhadra camp participated in the event. There has been longlasting political rivalry between Pt Sukh Ram and Virbhadra Singh groups, which still exists. Despite the known fact, Shukla chose to give importance to Pandit family which made congressmen of other group I’ll feeling. Pt Sukh Ram’s son Anil Sharma had left the party and contested 2017 polls with the support BJP government. After formation of BJP government, Anil was made Minister. On the other hand, after sometime Ashray Sharma the son of Anil Sharma joined Congress to get Lok Sabha ticket from Mandi constituency. Pt Sukh Ram supported his grandson, and Anil Sharma in this upheaval had to resign from Ministerial post. However, Ashrey lost the election and the family was again on the political edge.
However, after Rajeev Shukla’s visit to this family at lunch, the family got highlighted. And now, the rebellious posture of Anil Sharma against BJP government has made political critics to make assessment about the extent of realignment. Anil Sharma blamed State government for his political exploitation and unwanted torture of his family members by state officials. He also challenged the government that his silence is not his weekness. He has announced that he will fight next election after getting nod from his voters and suporters, who will chose the party.
It indicates that Anil Sharma is now not in favour of BJP and he may take hard decision in his political life. BJP leaders also opened front against Anil Sharma. MP Ram Swaroop Sharma counter attacked Anil and raised questions on unreliability of this family. Ashray Sharma, who contested MP election on congress ticket also defended his father Anil Sharma. So the political upheaval seems to he at the critical juncture in Mandi Sadar segment again.
