Legislators no longer would be treated as VVIPs in State guest houses, specially Himachal Pradesh Sadan and Himachal Pradesh Bhawan. Out side state as they would be charged same tariff at par with general public. This was stated by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu who was interacting with media after the Congress legislative party (CLP) meeting.
He said that it was decided in the meeting that all the MLAs and their family members would have to pay room tariffs in Himachal Bhawans or Sadan and other State Guest Houses as are being charged from the general public.
He said that the State Government would provide top priority for redressal of public grievances.The Chief Minister also informed that his Government would work towards ensuring transparency in governance and zero tolerance policy towards corruption would be adopted and a transparency Act would be passed soon to achieve the purpose.
