A tragic incident unfolded this afternoon in Tahliwal village, Haroli subdivision, Una district of Himachal Pradesh, as a major fire engulfed the area. According to reports from the State Disaster Management Authority, the fire erupted from an oil tanker, resulting in the destruction of 15 shops and damage to several vehicles.
The blaze claimed the life of one individual, identified as Subhash Chandra from Punjab, while seven others sustained burn injuries. Among the injured, one person suffered major injuries and was rushed to Regional Hospital Una for medical treatment, while the remaining six received minor injuries.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire and working to provide support to the affected individuals and businesses during this challenging time.
