In a noteworthy alleviation to Prashant Kanojia, the writer arrested by UP Police for online remarks against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Supreme Court today ordered his quick discharge on bail. The bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and Ajay Rastogi passed the request in a ‘Habeas corpus’ appeal recorded by Jagisha Arora, spouse of Kanojia, looking for his discharge.
