Popular tourist destinations like Kufri, Narkanda, Manali, Solang Valley, Dalhousie, and Sissu may experience light to moderate snowfall, offering scenic vistas and ideal conditions for winter activities, stated a IMD release. While snow lovers will delight in these picturesque settings, travelers should be cautious as heavy snowfall may cause slippery roads, low visibility, and traffic disruptions, particularly in districts like Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi, which are set to receive isolated heavy snow on the 20th.
Temperatures will fall by 6-7°C on 20th February, creating a true winter chill, followed by a slight rise in temperatures by 21st and 22nd February. The state will also experience cold day conditions on the 20th in lower and mid-hill areas. Tourists are advised to take necessary precautions, drive safely, and stay updated with local advisories.
