Three time Cong MLA to be Deputy Speaker of HP Assembly

Three time Congress MLA from Renukaji assembly Constituency of Sirmaur district Vinay Kumar likely to be elected new Deputy Speaker of HP Legislative assembly as party high command has given green signal for his candidature.
According to Vidhan Sabha sources the Congress legislative party was informed last evening about the AICC and State government choice for the post of Deputy Speaker.
The proposal of elections of Deputy Speaker may be moved by the Parliamentary affairs minister Harshvardhan Chauhan in the house on the first day, today
A MLA from Renukaji assembly Constituency was likely to be proposed in the house today and his name was seconded and supported by others members.
Vinay, is son of Late Dr. Prem Singh (Former Chief Parliamentary Secretary H.P. Govt.). born on 12th March, 1978 at Maina Bagh, in distrcit. He is married to Seema Bhushan and has one son & one daughter. By nature of work he is a Agriculturist.
Kumar has been General Secretary, Block Congress Committee, Renuka; Non-official Director, H.P. Agricultural Rural Development Bank Ltd. and working President, HPCC June, 2022 onwards.
Elected to the State Legislative Assembly in December, 2012 and re-elected in December, 2017, he remained Chief Parliamentary Secretary2012 to 17; Chairman, Renuka Development Board, 2013-17; Member, Welfare, Library, Research & Reference and Human Development Committees, 2018-2022.
Elected for the third consecutive term in December, 2022; nominated as Chairman, Public Administration Committee; Member, Estimates Committee
