Shimla, Apr 5
A three-year-old child died at Indira Gandhi Medical College after a vehicle on the sealed roads ran over the victim near the Chief Minister’s residence in the town.
Superintendent of Police Shimla, Sanjeev Gandhi, confirmed that a tragic accident occurred near Oak Over in Shimla when a vehicle ran over the baby near the Haryana Circuit House.
Identified as a government vehicle, ran over the sleeping three-year-old girl, who was the daughter of laborers from Jharkhand.
Soon after the mishap, the victim was rushed to IGMC, where she succumbed to her injuries in critical condition.
The police have initiated further investigation.
