Nahan/Shimla, Apr 20
In a joyous event that has left the town of Nahan, located in the Sirmaur district, brimming with happiness, a woman gave birth to three baby girls simultaneously at the Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Medical College. Hailing from Kalog village in the Nainidhar Panchayat, the mother astoundingly underwent a normal delivery, defying expectations.
Madan Singh, the elated father, shared the remarkable tale of his wife’s delivery. Initially informed of twins by the attending doctor, the couple had been advised to opt for a larger medical facility for the birth. Consequently, they relocated to Nahan a month ago, where they resided with Madan’s brother in anticipation of the blessed event.
The journey towards parenthood took an unexpected turn when the mother experienced labor pains on Wednesday night. Acting swiftly, Madan rushed his wife to the medical college, where, at the break of dawn, she delivered three daughters. Remarkably, each arrival was spaced just 10 to 15 minutes apart, as confirmed by Sulakshana, a staff nurse at the Medical College Nahan.
Madan, a daily wage laborer, expressed his profound joy at the arrival of his triplets, noting the auspicious timing of their birth during the auspicious festival of Navratri. This addition to their family brings the total count of daughters to six, further enriching their lives with boundless love and blessings.
Amidst the jubilation, both mother and babies are reported to be in good health, igniting waves of happiness within their family and community alike.
