Shimla, Aug 4
Two people are being feared to have drowned in Pong dam of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday evening. A active search to trace the missing is going on.
Reports arriving here, state that victims were taking bath in the dam when because of being ignorant about the depth they may have drowned in the dam.
It is being told that three people from Bhiyal village of Baryal Panchayat had gone towards Pong Dam on Wednesday. One person returned while two others did not reach home in the night.
When their search was started in the morning, it was feared that both had drowned in the Pong dam. At present, police teams from Haripur police station are present on the spot. Divers are searching the missing in the water.
