Shimla/Chandigarh, Sept 22,
Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister and Rampur royal scion Vikramaditya Singh tied the knot with Dr. Amreen Kaur Sekhon, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Panjab University, Chandigarh, in a private Gurudwara ceremony in Chandigarh on Monday.
The intimate wedding at Sector 11 Gurudwara saw close family and friends in attendance. Vikramaditya, dressed in a traditional sherwani, was accompanied by his mother, Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Pratibha Singh, his sister, and brother-in-law. The bride, in a stunning lehenga, was accompanied by her parents, Sardar Jotinder Singh Sekhon and Opinder Kaur.
Following the rituals, the couple enjoyed lunch at Lalit Hotel before heading to Shimla for a bride’s entry ceremony at Holly Lodge, the historic Singh family residence.

Dr. Amreen Kaur, a scholar with double master’s degrees, a PhD, and Harvard credentials, brings an academic touch to the union. For Vikramaditya Singh, 35, son of late Raja Virbhadra Singh, this marks a second chapter in his personal life.
The couple’s decade-long friendship, which began before Vikramaditya entered politics in 2017, has now blossomed into marriage, drawing best wishes from Himachal and Punjab.
With Holly Lodge decked in festive lights, the Rampur royal family celebrates a new beginning.
