Shimla, June 24
A major road mishap occurred at Bakroa of Ghumarwin Tehsil under post office Sadar Bilaspur, this morning. Wherein a private bus overturned on the road. The accident injured 14 passengers who have been admitted to Bilaspur Hospital, informed a state government spokesperson.
He said a private bus enroute from Una (Dhusada) to Kothipura Bilaspur carrying about 35 passengers suddenly overturned on the road near Bakroa near Hanuman temple at 6:30 am.
Fourteen injured were hospitalised and given medical aid in 108 ambulance, and were taken to Bilaspur hospital by ambulance. The rest have been shifted to Civil Hospital Ghumarwin. All are reported to be stable. The rest of the 21 people were rescued safely.
District Administration and police teams have rushed to the spot to safely execute the rescue operation.
