Light and moderate snow at many places of the State in last 24 hours has resulted in disrupting 147 roads including 135 in Lahaul-Spiti district. In Lahaul Subdivision 86 roads were disrupted and 49 in Udaipur Subdivision.
Lahaul Spiti district police informed the commuters and tourists in a weather advisory that Manali Leh National Highway ( NH – 003 ) from North Portal to Stingri Helipad is open for for by four vehicles. Pangi Killar Highway ( SH – 26 ) is closed for all types of vehicles. Kaza road (NH-505) is closed for all types of vehicles.
Meanwhile, the weather conditions have plummeted the mercury several degrees below normal and Keylong in Lahual Spiti recorded coldest of this season. The Met department said that minimum temperature of Keylong was minus 6.9 degrees which was six degrees below normal. Kukumseri recorded minus 3.8 degree, Kalpa (Kinnaur) Reckongpeo and Manali minus one degrees, Tourist favourites Kufri three degrees, Dalhousie four degrees, Chamba and Shimla six degrees, Solan & Mandi seven, Hamirpur, Kangra and Dharmshala nine degrees each and Una ten.
Keylong recorded 15 cm (half feet) and Kukumseri 24 cm snowfall, Koksar recorded 22 cm, Gondla-13 cm and Khadrala three cm. The Dalhousie & Kheri(Chamba) had 33 mm rain each, Chamba-28, Tissa-26, Saloni and Bhuntar 23 mm each, Bharmour 16 mm,  Manali(Kullu) 31 mm, Kasol-17 mm.
The weather men forecast mainly dry weather in the state during next 24 hrs.
