The Himachal Pradesh Government today stated that toll of live stock due to Lympy Skin Disease (LSD) has gone upto 4347 in the state. Also 81843Â cattle are affected by epidemic so far. About 214 animal died today and 1824 new cases were traced on Monday.
State Disaster management authority Secretary Sudesh Kumar Mokhta informed in a bulletin here today that nine district are most affected by the outbreak including Solan, Sirmour, Shimla, Una, Kangra, Bilaspur, Mandi, Hamirpur & Chamba.
He said that after declaring the outbreak epidemic about 217170Â animals were vaccinated. Against the requirements of 265350 vaccines state have availability of 106300 doses. 38906 animals have recovered from LSD till date and it is active in 38590 animal.
