6 killed, 5 injured in Chamba road accident; CM expresses grief
Shimla/Chamba, May 11
Six (6) persons were killed and four (4) others injured after an Innova car met with an accident near Kakira on the Lahru-Tunnuhatti road in Chamba district on Monday.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the tragic accident and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.

In a statement issued here, the Chief Minister directed the district administration to provide all possible assistance to the affected families and ensure the best possible treatment to the injured persons.
He prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
The injured were shifted for medical treatment, while local administration and police teams carried out relief and rescue operations. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
