Shimla, July 28
The State cabinet while expressing concern over the increase in number of rising covid cases in the State and the high positivity rate, decided that people should wear face masks in public places, government offices, educational institutions and indoor and outdoor gatherings as a precautionary measure to check spread of this virus, informed a official spokesperson.
He said that the State Cabinet meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. A presentation on Covid-19 situation in the State was also made before the Cabinet, where this decision was taken.
Even today 930, new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported. Also , 605 Recovered and No deaths were recrided during the past 24 hours. Active cases now are 5239 in the state.
