Today in Himachal Pradesh, residents and tourists woke up to the sound of raindrops tapping against their windows, heralding a much-needed change in weather. Chamba, Seobagh, Tissa, and Bharmour were among the areas that experienced significant downpours, with rainfall ranging from 4.0 mm to 11 mm. Even popular tourist destinations like Dalhousie, Jot, and Manali received a refreshing shower, ranging from 2.0 mm to 3.0 mm. The sudden change in weather brought about a welcome drop in day temperatures, prompting residents to reach for their warm clothing once again.
Tourists, weary of the relentless heat of the plains, rejoiced in the cool and pleasant weather, embracing the opportunity to explore the region without the discomfort of excessive heat. Farmers also welcomed the rain, as it promised to rejuvenate their crops and ensure a bountiful harvest.
As night fell, temperatures continued to drop across the state, providing much-needed relief from the oppressive heat. Keylong, Dalhousie, Manali, and Kalpa all experienced significant decreases in temperature, allowing residents to enjoy a cool and comfortable night’s sleep.
Looking ahead, the meteorological office has forecasted continued rain and snowfall in many parts of the state over the next 24 hours. This forecast serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of weather in the region and the importance of being prepared for sudden changes.
