In an unexpected weather turn, Himachal Pradesh recorded significantly high temperatures on November 3, 2024. According to the latest data, temperatures in several regions were appreciably above normal, signaling an unusual heatwave for this time of year.
Hamirpur claimed the highest temperature of the day at 35.5°C.
Meanwhile, Solan and Dharamshala witnessed record-breaking highs for November, reaching 29.0°C and 27.6°C, respectively, marking the highest temperatures ever recorded in these areas for the month.
Other notable high temperatures included Una at 32.6°C and Neri at 30.3°C.
Key stations such as Kalpa (23.4°C) and Reckongpeo (23.4°C) also reported temperatures above seasonal averages, while colder regions like Samdho maintained lower maximums, with 11.0°C.
Despite the warmth, the state experienced no rainfall in the past 24 hours, emphasizing dry conditions. The Himachal Pradesh Meteorological Department confirmed that the average maximum temperatures showed no significant change during this period but remained appreciably above normal.
