Another person of Mandi district working in Saudi Arabia has become victim to the deadly Corona infection. Parents of deceased person got information about the sad demise from an informal source on Tuesday. Earlier too around 15 days before another from the district had lost his life in Saudi Arabia due to pandemic. After many efforts the last rites of deceased dead body could be done on Tuesday.
The latest deceased was a 55 year old resident of Palahi village in Mandi district Balh sub-division and has died in Saudi Arabia after contracting COVID-19 infection. His co-worker, resident of Punjab informed the family on Tuesday about the death of Deena Nath. After being informed the family members of deceased are in shock and are are now worried about his last rites. They have urged the administration for necessary action so that the deceased body can be brought back home to perform last rites as per Hindu rituals. Decease person’s wife Vanita and army personnel son Neeraj said that they are helpless in bringing back the dead body of family member to India so they are looking forward for local administration and government support in the matter.
SDM Balh Ashish Sharma confirmed that one person namely Dinanath has died in Saudi Arabia due to Corona disease. He said that the administration is taking up this matter with state government and hope that necessary action will be done immediately.
On the other side, the last rites of another person Suresh Kumar who belonged to Pargi Village of Sarkaghat subdivision were done yesterday with Hindu rituals. He had died nearly two week before in Saudi Arabia due to COVID-19. Deceased person’s family members thanked social worker Chander Mohan Sharma for his efforts make the cremation of deceased possible wherein state government had looked helpless.
