South west monsoon has arrived in all parts of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, stated the Indian Meteorological Department here today. Shimla Met Office Incharge Manmohan Singh said that SW monsoon has arrived in all parts of Himachal Pradesh including remaining parts of Kutch and Gujarat Region and Madhya Pradesh ,some parts of Rajasthan , Chandigarh and North Punjab , most parts of Uttar Pradesh and entire Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashimir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan & Muzaffarabad.
Issuing weather forecast here today Singh said that Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershowers likely to occur at most places in districts of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Hamirpur, Bilaspur Una, Kangra and Mandi with heavy rainfall at isolated places in the districts of Solan Una, Hamirpour , Bilaspur and Kangra in next 24 hrs .
