Within 24 hrs, reports of another HRTC bus skidding off the hill have made way. The ill-fated bus went off the road at Baghar Kenchi near Huli under the Theog subdivision in the district. Around 15 passengers were injured in the mishap, confirmed a state government spokesperson.
An HRTC (HP 03B 6053) bus on root from Jarai to Theog skidded off the road near Baghar Kenchi near Huli Sub Division Theog at 7.50 am on Thursday, where the bus rolled down approx. 50-60 feet below the road. All 15 passengers got minor injuries. The injured persons are shifted to CHC Kotkhai and Theog.
On Wednesday, one passenger died, and 23 others were injured when another HRTC bus fell 100 meters deep gorge near Hiranagar in the district on Friday.
