Army supply truck rolls down a gorge claiming 3 lives near Deepak Tal in Lahaul & Spiti

In a tragic incidence, a Army supply truck rolled down the road taking 3 lives and leaving 3 seriously injured in Lahaul & Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The ill- fated truck no HP 72 8299 rolled down a deep gorge near Deepak Tal on the foothills of Baralacha pass in Lahaul sub division.
A spokesperson of the HP State emergency operation centre (HPSEOC) informed that the truck belonged to a Garg and Garg company, and was on its way back to Keylong. He said that in the incidence 3 people have died, and 3 are seriously injured. ” The injured are sent to Keylong hospital through an ambulance, ” he stated. The mishap occurred 1.25 PM on Wednesday. Bodies of deceased were evacuated and handed over to victims families after post mortem, he added.
