The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Himachal Pradesh has restructured its organizational framework with the announcement of new state office bearers and Morcha presidents. The appointments were made by state party president Dr. Rajeev Bindal and will come into effect immediately.
As per the official communication, Bihari Lal Sharma, Rashmi Dhar Sood, Dr. Rajni Bharadwaj, Vipin Singh Parmar, Pawan Kajal, Vinod Kumar, Rajesh Thakur and Balbir Verma have been appointed vice presidents of the state unit. The post of general secretary has been given to Dr. Sikander Kumar, Sanjeev Katwal and Payal Vaid, while Sumit Sharma, Dr. Sanjay Thakur, Vandana Yogi, Priyanta Sharma, Kusum Sadret, Tilakraj Sharma, Amit Thakur and Shishu Dharma will serve as secretaries. Kamaljeet Sood has been named treasurer and Pramod Thakur will take charge as office secretary.
In the media department, Randhir Sharma has been appointed as in-charge, Rakesh Jamwal as chief spokesperson and Karan Nanda as media coordinator. For the social media and IT cell, Sushil Rathore has been designated as social media coordinator, Kamal Thakur as joint coordinator, while Anil Dudwal will lead the IT wing as coordinator, assisted by Praveen Thakur as joint coordinator.
The party has also finalized the presidents of its various Morchas. Sunny Shukla has been given the charge of Yuva Morcha, Dr. Daizy Thakur will head Mahila Morcha, Sanjeev Deshta will lead the Kisan Morcha, Manish Chauhan has been appointed president of Anusuchit Jaati Morcha, Ramlok Dhanotiya will head the OBC Morcha, Sunil Negi has been given charge of the Anusuchit Janjaati Morcha and Sardar Gurmeet Singh will lead the Alp Sankhyak Morcha.
Announcing the appointments, Dr. Rajeev Bindal said the new team has been formed keeping in view organizational needs and the responsibility of strengthening the party’s presence across Himachal Pradesh.
