Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, contesting as the BJP candidate for the Mandi Lok Sabha election, refuted claims made by Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh regarding her dietary preferences. Singh alleged that Ranaut had admitted to enjoying beef consumption despite objections from her mother.
In response, Ranaut vehemently denied these accusations, stating, “I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat.” She expressed her dismay at the spread of baseless rumors tarnishing her reputation.
Facing backlash from Singh’s verbal assault, Ranaut emphasized her advocacy for a yogic and Ayurvedic lifestyle, asserting that such tactics would not affect her image. “My people know me,” she affirmed, “and they know that I am a proud Hindu.” She concluded with a resounding “Jai Shri Ram.”
