Car accident Sirmaur: Two killed, one injured as vehicle plunges into gorge near Haripurdhar

Nahan, April 4 Two died on the spot and another seriously injured in a tragic road accident in the Shri Renuka Ji block of Sirmaur district on Saturday. The accident occurred near Chadna on the Haripurdhar–Nohradhar road when a Swift car (HP88A-6058) reportedly went out of control and plunged nearly 300 meters into a deep gorge.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as 18-year-old Gulshan, son of Ram Vilas, a resident of Simdega district in Jharkhand, and 29-year-old Naresh Kumar, son of Baru Ram, a resident of Kupvi in Shimla district. The injured driver, Vipin, a resident of Kangra district, has been admitted to the Community Health Centre in Nohradhar, where he is undergoing treatment.
Preliminary reports suggest that all three occupants were traveling from Kulg towards Baddi when the accident took place. The vehicle reportedly lost control near Chadna, leading to the fatal plunge into the gorge.
Police and local rescue teams rushed to the spot upon receiving information and carried out relief and recovery operations. The bodies have been taken into custody and sent to Civil Hospital Rajgarh for post-mortem examination.
Superintendent of Police, Sirmaur, N.S. Negi confirmed the incident and said that a case has been registered. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
