Shimla, July 6,
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Himachal Pradesh Maneesh Garg today here said that to ensure free and fair bye-elections in Assembly constituencies (ACs) viz., Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh the Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced complete ban on conduction, publication or dissemination of any type of exit poll from 7 AM to 6.30 PM on poll day i.e., 10 July, 2024.
He said that during the period of 48 hours before the conclusion of the poll on the 10th July 2024 display of any kind of elections matter like results of opinion polls, poll survey in any electronic media would also be prohibited.
