The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has revoked the suspension of former MLA Jagjivan Pal and Paras Ram, said party general secretary V C Venugopal in a press release.

 The decision comes in line with the recommendation of the Chairperson of State Disciplinary Committee and keeping in view the forthcoming Elections or Bye-Elections in the state.

Jagjivan Pal and Paras Ram were suspended for defying party discipline in assembly elections in 2022.

Party is trying to consolidate the organisation being back the dedicated workers and leaders as many of them are still ideological close to the party.

Pal got 27882 votes in 2022 assembly elections from Sulhah assembly of Kangra district and Congress candidate pushed to third place.

Paras Ram got 6778 votes as independent candidate from Anni of Kullu district.
