Congress Seva dal State revamps leadership ahead of Lok sabha polls: New executive body takes charge

In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the Congress Seva Dal has announced the formation of a revamped executive body in the state. The restructuring, recommended by Seva Dal state in-charge Ram Vilas Rawat and implemented by Lalji Desai, chief organizer of All India Congress Seva Dal, includes the appointment of key officials.
The newly appointed executive team comprises four vice-presidents: Sushil Thakur, Santram Dhiman, ML Kaundal, and Rajesh Sharma. Ranjan Bhardwaj has been assigned the role of treasurer, with Dinesh Jasrotia as the co-treasurer.
The general secretary positions are filled by Dr. Vijay Kapil, Dinanath Bhandari, Bhopal Sharma, Sandeep Batra, Birendra Thakur, Gopal Krishna, and Dimple Thakur.
Further, 14 individuals have been appointed as secretaries, with responsibilities assigned to Dalip Katok Prakash Mahajan, Rajendra Sharma, Bhumi Dev, Tara Mohan Negi, Purshottam Prakash, Ajay Sharma, Surendra Verma, Girdhari Rana, Shashi Bhushan Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Gurcharan Singh, Narendra Dutt, and Gulzar Mohammed as state general secretaries. Additionally, 14 co-secretaries have been named, including Babita Oberoi, Karan Pathania, Rajendra Chauhan, Sandeep Thakur, Naresh Kumar, Harjeet Singh, Vijay Kumar, Vijay Singh, Bishan Das Nayyar, Ashwani Sharma, Lalchand, Kamal Sharma, Trilok Chand, and Sudam Ali.
Dinu Rahi has been appointed as the flag in-charge, Krishna Kumari as the Office Secretary, and Pawan Chaudhary as the State Chief Instructor. The role of instructors will be undertaken by Ramesh Thakur, Shankar Dhyan, Neelam Thakur, and Sanjay Thakur.
Moreover, Sanjay Bhardwaj has been named the working president of Seva Dal Young Brigade, while Ravi Ratan Sharma assumes the position of General Secretary of Young Brigade.
The Seva Dal’s state chief organizer, Anurag Sharma, expressed confidence in the newly constituted executive body, emphasizing the importance of their roles as the party gears up for the upcoming political challenges.
