In view of the ongoing times in COVID-19 ‘Pandemic’ the Dearness allowance to be paid to Central government employees and dearness relief being paid to Central government pensioners due from January 1 ,2020 shall not be paid now. This stated an order by Central Government issued under Additional Secretary Ministry of Finance.
The order further stated that the additional installment of Dearness allowance and dearness relief due from July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 shall also not be paid. However dearness allowance and dearness relief at current rates will be given as before.
