Deportation of Revanna: Mahila Cong submits memorandum to PREZ.

Members of the All India Mahila Congress submitted a memorandum to President Dropdi Murmu during her visit to Mall road Shimla on Tuesday to demand justice for Karnataka victims of sexual assault.

Led by AICC leader Alka Lamba and state Mahila Congress president Jainab Chandel, they presented a memorandum urging action against absconding JDS sitting MP Prajwal Revanna.

Accused in a sex scandal, Revanna had sought refuge in Germany, evading accountability for his alleged crimes.

Their impassioned plea echoed the growing concern over rising crimes against women in the country. With courage fueled by a sense of duty, they beseeched the President to intervene, seeking deportation of the accused back to India to face trial.

 The memorandum was not merely a call for justice but a demand for accountability, aimed at ensuring that perpetrators like Ramvena are not shielded from the consequences of their actions.

Earlier addressing a press conference at Rajiv Gandhi bhavan here Lamba said that nation is grappled with the gravity of the situation, the spotlight turned to Modi’s response how he act against its alliance partner.

She said that prime minister continue to remain silent, or would he heed the call for justice. She said that Mahila Congress is trying to take time from Rajbhavan at the Retreat to submit Memorandum in the matter but appointment was not given however latter they seized moments on the Mall road and the president accepted their Memorandum. Governor Shiv Partap Shukla was accompanied the president on the Mall road during submission of memorandum.
