Dhaba owner booked for alleged paper leak in HP Secretariat Clerk exam
Shimla, April 29
The State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau of Hamirpur district in Himachal Pradesh has booked a Dhaba owner in connection with the paper leak case of the state secretariat clerk examinations. Sohan Singh, the accused, is the owner of a Dhaba situated in Pakka Bharoh, Hamirpur.
According to the agency, an FIR was registered against him under section 420 & 120B of Indian Penal Code. The FIR pertains to the leakage of question paper of H.P. Secretariat Clerk Post (Code 962), held in the month of April 2022. The advertisement for 82 seats of the said exam was published on May 24, 2022, and the written exam was held on September 18, 2022. The result of the written exam was declared on October 21, 2022.
A total of 57,710 candidates had appeared in the written exam, out of whom 897 candidates had passed the written exam. Further, 265 candidates had been shortlisted after a typing skill test. After documentation, a list of 82 candidates had been prepared. The final result of this exam was yet to be declared.

The officials of the SV&ACB Shimla have assured that they will investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against the culprits.
