Shimla, Mar 13,
In scathing denouncement, ousted MLA Rajinder Rana has launched a blistering attack on Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh for his alleged evasion of pertinent questions regarding official visits and extravagant stays in five-star accommodations.
Rana, in a pointed media note, raised eyebrows and said that the issue of dissident leaders staying in five star hotels is being raised on every forum but why does CM Sukhwinder Singh not answer the question that during their official visit to Chandigarh, instead of staying in the CM suite at Himachal Bhawan, they stay in a five star hotel at night.
Further intensifying his criticism, Rana sarcastically questioned the meteoric rise in wealth among the CM’s acquaintances, juxtaposing their previous financial struggles with their current possession of multi-crore properties within a mere fourteen-month span. He demanded transparency from the CM, challenging him to elucidate the mysterious circumstances leading to such unprecedented prosperity.
Rana also took umbrage at the CM’s alleged usage of derogatory language towards dissenting leaders, contending that such discourse runs counter to the esteemed culture and decorum of Himachal Pradesh. Moreover, he vehemently rebuked the CM’s purported failure to address the plight of elected representatives, highlighting a sense of betrayal among the state’s youth due to unfulfilled promises and neglect.
In a bold assertion, Rana warned of his refusal to remain silent, vowing to persistently challenge what he perceives as the government’s indifference towards the aspirations of the state’s youth. He underscored the resolve of dissatisfied leaders to continually raise their voices against what they view as the government’s betrayal of its constituents.
