Five lose life in a Bolero mishap near Sangla

Five people died in a Bolero mishap on the Shirdi link road near Sangla, approximately 250 km from here in Kinnaur district on Wednesday.
This tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a Bolero camper fell into a gorge on the Shirdi link road near Sangla. Four individuals, including the driver of the vehicle, succumbed to injuries on the spot.
The accident was so severe that the jeep was shattered into pieces. The police have registered the case and initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
After extensive efforts, the police, with the assistance of local residents, recovered the bodies and promptly transported them to Reckong Peo Hospital.
Following post-mortem procedures at the hospital, the bodies will be handed over to the respective relatives. SP Kinnaur Vivek Chahal has confirmed the occurrence of the accident.
