
Five train services recommissioned on Klk-Sml heritage railline
Shimla, October 3
The Northern Railway recommissioned UNESCO heritage Himalayan Kalka -Shimla Rail line extending services upto Shimla after a gap of 85 days today.
According to Railway spokesperson first train services left for Shimla from Kalka as Train No 52857 -Kalka-Shimla pass at 0400 hrs and arrived at Scheduled time at 920hrs. This train is connected with Netaji Kalka- Hawra Mail.
According to Railway spokesperson all five services running from Kalka to Shimla were being resumed from today.
The services recommissioned between Kalka -Shimla are 72452- Rail Motar (Single boggy) departure 510hrs to arrival 0950 hrs, 52451- SHIVALIK DLX EXP 0530 hrs to 1015hrs, 52453 KLKA SIMLA EXP 0600 hrs to 1105hrs and 52455 Himalayan Queen 1210 hrs to 1720hrs, respectively.
Down Services from Shimla to Kalka includes 52456-Himalayan Queen departure 10 35 hrs to arrival 1610, No 52858 -KLK-SML Pass at 1425hrs-2010 hrs, 72452- Rail Motar 1625 hrs to 2135 hrs, 52452- SHIVALIK DLX EXP 1740 hrs to 2225 hrs, 52454 KLKA SIMLA EXP 1815 hrs to 2320 hrs respectively.
During peak season two holidays special services would be run by the NR.
