According to the latest road status report, heavy snowfall has forced the closure of key routes, including Darcha to Shinkula and Darcha to Sarchu (NH-003 Leh), which will remain shut until summer 2025. Other roads, such as Koksar to Manali via Rohtang and Koksar to Losar via Kunzum Top, are also inaccessible. However, the Keylong to Atal Tunnel and ATR to Manali routes remain open but are accessible only to 4×4 vehicles due to 2-4 inches of snow accumulation at the portals. In Kullu district, authorities have warned of poor visibility, slippery roads, and potential disruptions due to ongoing snowfall and rain. The Shimla-Narkanda highway (NH-05) remains slippery, with traffic being diverted through alternative routes via Luhri and Sunni.
