Shimla, Nov 6,
Rashtriya Military School (RMS) Chail, India’s oldest military school, is set to embark on a historic 242-kilometer ultra-run to commemorate its 100th anniversary. The four-day event, organized by the Georgian Association (North), will kick off on November 7th, 2024, from Jalandhar and conclude at the school’s campus in Chail on November 10th.
The ultra-run will traverse key locations, including Balachaur, Pinjore, and Solan, symbolizing the school’s enduring spirit and commitment to excellence. Renowned military leaders and distinguished alumni are expected to grace the event, adding to its significance.
The event is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a tribute to RMS Chail’s rich legacy of producing exceptional leaders. Over the past century, the school has nurtured generations of individuals who have excelled in the military, civil services, and various other fields.
The ultra-run is not only a celebration of the school’s history but also a call for fitness and unity. By promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering a sense of camaraderie, the event aims to inspire future generations to embrace the values of discipline, courage, and service to the nation.
