The arduous journey began in Jalandhar, the birthplace of RMS in 1925, and traversed through Balachaur, Pinjore, Solan, and finally culminated in the picturesque hill station of Chail.
Led by renowned ultramarathon runner Rajan Singh Raghuvanshi (1998 passout), the event was a collaborative effort between the RMS alumni, Georgians Association (North), and Georgians Association (India). The team included distinguished runners like Col Krishan Badhwar, Sanjay Kumar, Raman Jeet Singh Oberoi, Rahul Dhiman, Surjeet Singh, and Commander Sourav Maiti.
The ultramarathon not only celebrated the school’s legacy but also inspired a new generation of runners. A significant number of ex-boys and 30 cadets, including girl cadets, joined the final leg of the run, showcasing the enduring spirit of RMS.
The local community enthusiastically supported the event, cheering the runners and showering them with flowers. The Alumni Association presented a memento to the participants to honor their extraordinary achievement.
This remarkable feat underscores the dedication and camaraderie of the RMS alumni, paying a fitting tribute to the school’s illustrious history.
