Shimla, March 17- HP Budget 2023: Kangra to be tourism capital of HP
Kangra was announced as the tourism capital to decongest the tourism footfall. Unique cultural and arts facilities to be developed. The water and roller skating centres are to be developed. Cruise and Shikar would be set. The land to be allotted.
Mandi Airport survey. Rs 400 Crore is yet to be approved. The Finance commission showed an inability to release the funds, and the state government requested it. Kangra Airport 3000 meter Land acquisition process would be completed, Rs 2000 Crore to be spent for the gaggal airport.
Sanjouli -Baddi heliservice to be restore soon. Heliport construction Rs 30 Cr. All districts are to be linked with Heliport by next year.
Rs 300 Crore at Kangra districts Bankhari for an animal zoo. Rs 3011 Crore tourism promotion facilities with the help of the Asian Development bank. Heritage site beautification.
Ice skating rink and roller skating upgradation proposed. Skill classes are to be started to promote the skill of tourism activities.
Health front highlights:
Rs 100 Crore to be spent on the medical services including robotics surgery technology. Super specialty to Gynaecology, Cardio thoracic department. The CM proposed to upgrade the Causality and separate wards for the trauma centre at IGMC. Proper staff strength to be maintained and one ideal health centre would be developed. Specialist doctors and lab facilities to be equipped with the latest art of technology. Coordination to be developed with other district institutions to ensure proper staff strength in the IGMC Trauma centre. Medical service corporation to be constituted to maintain the supply of medicine and other equipment in the hospital.
