HP CM may be discharged from AIIMS in a day or two

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who has been receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the last four days, is expected to be discharged within the next day or two as his health continues to improve.

A statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and his close aides has confirmed that the Chief Minister’s health has significantly improved, and has recovered from illness, with his condition nearing normal.
The Chief Minister was admitted to AIIMS on Friday after being discharged from the IGMC Gastroenterology department in Shimla. He had been hospitalized initially due to complaints of pancreas and stomach infections on a Wednesday night.
At AIIMS, routine tests have shown that the stomach infection has been completely cured. The medical team at AIIMS anticipates that once the pancreas infection is resolved, he may be discharged from the hospital within the next one or two days.
According to sources close to the CMO, the Chief Minister has been advised to observe complete rest for the next five to six days.
In response to the Chief Minister’s ailment, senior cabinet members, including Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, rushed to Delhi to visit him at AIIMS.
Chief Minister Sukhu was transferred from IGMC Shimla to AIIMS Delhi at 9 am on Friday. His initial admission to IGMC followed severe stomach pain on a Wednesday, where he received treatment for 30 hours before being referred to AIIMS for a second opinion.
