Missing ballot papers of 41 police personal: SDM submits report to DC

The SDM Shillai has submitted an investigation report to District Election Officer RK Gautam pertaining to the investigation in Shillai block. In the matter, around 41 postal ballot papers had been reported as ‘not received’ by agrieved Police personnel. As per inputs, the report submitted by the SDM has recomended action against the errant employees.
Significantly, report found that Release Order letters were issued to the 41 police personnel for issuing ballot papers, but the ballot were not issued due to some reasons.
District Election Officer R K Gautam informed that SDM Shillai has submitted the investigation report today. It is being studied and action would be taken against those who are found negligent in the matter, he added.
